For the actual day celebrating her (???)-th trip around the sun, Helen Gillet has chosen to present a special evening of music with friends at the Broadside…. The theme is “Le Gateau dans le Lac” (“the Cake in the Lake”!), featuring her all-star chanson/Walloon orchestra “WAZOZO” and very special guests…

WAZOZO for this evening consists of: Helen Gillet on cello, Luke Brechtelsbauer on harp, Alex McMurray on guitar & banjo, Rex Gregory on woodwinds, and Doug Garrison on percussion.

The party will also be augmented with appearances by special guests including Washboard Chaz, Bruce “Sunpie” Barnes, and LPO principal French Horn sorceress Mollie Pate!
